Sparks Group has partnered with a mission-driven healthcare advocacy organization supporting reproductive rights to identify an Administrative Support Specialist to support its Membership Operations team. This role focuses on data management, applicant follow-up, and internal coordination to ensure a smooth and responsive membership experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, comfortable engaging with members by phone and email, and aligned with values-driven work.
Responsibilities:
- Complete accurate data entry of membership applicant information into the internal database system (NetForum).
- Assist with auditing and cleaning duplicate records, as well as archiving outdated invoices within the database.
- Enter new demographic data from member surveys into corresponding database fields.
- Support the migration and organization of folders within Microsoft SharePoint by manually moving subfolders into new, alphabetized locations.
- Conduct SharePoint searches as needed to verify whether member agreements are on file.
- Follow up via phone and/or email with past applicants regarding membership status and interest in renewal.
- Communicate by phone and/or email with institutional providers currently in the application pipeline to provide status updates and estimated completion timelines.
- Check in with older individual and institutional applicants to confirm ongoing interest in membership.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Minimum of a high school diploma required.
- Database management experience required.
- Experience working with nonprofit or membership-based organizations preferred.
- At least 2 years of professional administrative support experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Zoom.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a courteous and professional demeanor.
- Comfortable engaging with a member community via phone and email.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and data.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to support and align with the organization’s mission, including comfort working in a values-driven environment and sensitivity to complex social and financial situations faced by members.

This job is Fully Remote.
Pay Range: Hourly $21.65 to $2,258.00
