Essential Duties:
- Handle basic tasks like copying, faxing, printing, and scanning.
- Clean devices and replace accessible parts or consumables as needed.
- Monitor and manage supplies using the Days Of Supply calculator.
- Keep track of on-site inventory of parts.
- Collect meter readings from equipment for billing.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment problems.
- Copy print and bind documents and publications
- Sort and deliver mail and print jobs
- Enter data for activity and asset tracking.
- Provide ongoing training to users on equipment.
- Coordinate equipment delivery and removal.
- Contact service providers (Xerox and third-party) when needed.
- Use Xerox web-based applications as required.
- Drive when needed for job tasks.
- Install printer drivers on user devices and set up printer connections.
- Troubleshoot and escalate network printer issues.
- Provide advanced training and troubleshooting for Xerox equipment.
- Manage on-site parts inventory using PM4.
- Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Handle device configuration, including IP setup, user access, and scanning templates.
- Monitor and apply software updates to devices.
- Manage non-Xerox devices as needed.
- Perform remote monitoring and troubleshooting of Xerox devices.
- Promote Xerox Office Solutions.
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of network connectivity and device management.
- Experience with competitive products and network tools.
- Ability to download and install files like drivers and fonts.
- Proficient in MS Word: creating tables, inserting images, and managing sections.
- Proficient in MS Excel: using formulas, creating charts, and working with multiple worksheets.
- Basic knowledge of MS PowerPoint: creating and printing presentations.
- Familiarity with applications like Adobe Acrobat and file conversion tools.
- Basic understanding of network printer setup and PC-to-printer connectivity.
- Knowledge of Digital Front Ends.
- Experience with MAC (Move/Add/Change) processes.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service and resolving printing equipment issues.
- Must have experience in a high volume print shop and using bindery equipment
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
