Staff Accountant

Sparks Group is in partnership with a manufacturing organization to find a Staff Accountant.  As the Staff Accountant you will be responsible for managing high-volume accounting transactions with precision and will leverage your analytical strengths to ensure data integrity and provide critical organizational support to our finance department.  The ideal candidate will have their bachelor’s degree in accounting with 2 years of relevant experience including knowledge of GAAP.  If you’re seeking your next role, apply now!

• Prepare precise journal entries and monthly account reconciliations with comprehensive documentation to ensure financial integrity.
• Support the monthly and year-end close processes and serve as a key resource for annual financial audits.
• Maintain rigorous internal controls and accounting standards while proactively identifying opportunities to improve financial policies.
• Deliver accurate, timely financial statements and provide analytical support for special projects and ad hoc reporting needs.

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or comparable ERP a plus

Pay Range: Hourly $42.00 to $46.00
