Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries related to benefits, payroll, PTO, and HR policies; resolve issues independently or escalate as appropriate

Guide employees through benefits enrollments and troubleshoot issues with health insurance, FSA/LSA, retirement plans, and related programs

Review timesheets for accuracy prior to payroll runs

Enter and maintain employee data in HRIS, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, bonuses, and PTO

Process benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations; reconcile carrier invoices
-
Maintain compliant employee files; track licenses, certifications, and renewals; initiate and monitor background checks

Lead new hire orientations and coordinate onboarding activities

Prepare termination packets and complete offboarding processes

Support HRIS, payroll, and benefits system implementations by validating data, checking accuracy, and identifying discrepancies

Communicate directly with client employees to support HR processes (behind the scenes; not a consulting or advisory role)

Draft HR documents including job descriptions, offer letters, policies, onboarding materials, and audit summaries based on leadership direction

Conduct HR audits (I-9s, personnel files, PTO, compliance) and prepare client-ready summaries

Update and manage tasks in Asana, tracking deadlines and ensuring projects stay on schedule

Proven experience as an HR Generalist with direct ownership of core HR functions

Strong working knowledge of benefits administration, payroll processes, HRIS, and employee relations

Demonstrated ability to work independently, problem-solve, and manage multiple priorities without constant direction

Experience supporting or participating in HR system implementations

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, onsite office environment

Experience in a professional services or multi-client environment

Familiarity with HR audits and compliance requirements

Experience using Asana or similar project management tools

This job is In-Person.
Pay Range: Hourly $28.00 to $30.00
