Technical Services Docucare Level 2

Overview:
We’re seeking a reliable Field Service Technician to support medical office buildings across the Dallas area. In this role, you’ll travel locally (within 50 miles) to provide preventative maintenance, technical support, and training for print and copy equipment. Some days you’ll visit multiple sites, and other days you may remain at one location.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Support & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for equipment support

  • Coordinate Move/Add/Change (MAC) requests

  • Deliver on-site training to end users

Service & Technical Maintenance

  • Perform preventative maintenance and clean devices

  • Troubleshoot and repair devices (break-fix support = ~70% of role)

  • Replace basic parts and consumables

  • Configure devices (IP addresses, scanning, user access)

  • Install drivers and map printers to user devices

  • Escalate complex network issues to appropriate teams

  • Support remote monitoring and resolution when required

Inventory & Reporting

  • Monitor and manage on-site parts and supplies

  • Track meter readings and submit for billing

  • Use web-based tools for service call handling and reporting

  • Maintain accurate activity and asset records

Additional Duties

  • Promote solutions as needed

  • Support multiple devices

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (required)

Experience & Skills:

  • 1–2 years of experience in field service, print equipment, or tech support

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision

  • Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs

  • Comfortable driving between locations daily

  • Travel: Daily within a 50-mile radius of Dallas, TX

  • Schedule: Varies by site; may work at a single location or travel between multiple
