Finance and Operations Manager

Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group has partnered with a fast-growing security intelligence startup company to find a Finance and Operations Manager.  As the Finance and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the company's financial planning and analysis, financial modeling and reporting, accounts payable and receivable processes, business operations, and HR functions. The ideal candidate will have their bachelor’s degree in business administration, 2 years of relevant financial analyst experience, be process oriented and able to context shift in support or daily and weekly objectives.  If you’re looking for your next opportunity to get in with a company and grow, apply now!

Responsibilities:

• Own financial planning cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and month-end close.
• Manage all financial operations, encompassing payroll, A/P, A/R, cash flow, and banking.
• Generate and present bi-weekly financial reports and KPIs to leadership.
• Assist with fundraising activities through financial data and projections.
• Oversee key HR functions like onboarding and state tax compliance.
• Support broader operational best practices, including recruiting, G&A software, and compliance efforts (SOC 2, info-sec).

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
• 2-3 years of experience in finance role
• Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
• Advanced level of Excel and familiarity with Google Sheets
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing processes
• Experience working in a management consulting or investment banking firm is preferred

This job is Hybrid Remote.

Pay Range: Salary $75,000.00 to $90,000.00
