Contracts Paralegal

Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group has partnered with an innovative marketing organization to identify a Contracts Paralegal to review and manage contacts as part of their growing legal team. This is a remote, contract to hire opportunity available to candidates living in DC, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Texas, and Tennessee.

Responsibilities:

• Client onboarding and offboarding, help with RFPs, be the connection between legal, finance and business. Maintain an RFP library.
• NDA, LOI, and Subcontractor review and execution in Ironclad.
• Execution of agreements, manage signatures, legal entities, and ensure we get back fully executed copies.
• Contracts tracker, conflict language tracker and review.
• Client and vendor agreement audit, terms and renewals, AI restrictions, etc.
• Ironclad repository, manage the lifecycle of agreements, upload existing client and vendor agreements
• Review contracts@ and assist with questions about contract status, execution of previous agreements. 
• Filing: Assist with the implementation of the data retention policy. Establish filing structures, assist business.

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• Bachelor degree, or equivalent work experience in a field that develops the skills required for the functions and responsibilities of the position
• Completion of an approved paralegal program
• Minimum two (2) years experience as a paralegal
• Successful completion of the State Bar validated standard tests for the position
• Basic principles, concepts and methodology of legal proceedings and legal research
• Knowledge of attorney client relationships applicable to the performance of major duties and responsibilities of the position
• Principles of legal writing
• Problem identification, analysis and evaluation
• Principles of effective writing and verbal presentation
• Make fine visual distinctions upon proofreading written documents and viewing information on a computer screen
• Communicate clearly and effectively in person and in writing
• Digital dexterity to assemble, retrieve and replace files

This job is Fully Remote.

Pay Range: Hourly $30.00 to $35.00
