As the Database Developer you will be responsible for supporting processing and analytics for high volume products. You will design, develop and modernize the core database applications. Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance databases and data pipelines. This encompasses both transactional and analytical systems.
- Develop and maintain robust Business Intelligence applications to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Collaborate effectively with development teams, DBAs, and stakeholders to ensure optimal data solutions and seamless integration.
- Champion best practices in data engineering, including automation, version control, and efficient ETL processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree or experience
- 4+ years of programming experience as well as operational experience in an enterprise database environment
- Strong experience in Microsoft SQL database development
- Experience with MS SQL Server 2016 or newer, including familiarity with T-SQL, SSIS and SSRS
- Experience in programming languages, such as .NET, Java, or Python, and scripting such as Powershell
- Expertise in scalable database performance, including optimizing SQL queries and transactions
- Familiarity with team development, source code management, and CI/CD automation
