Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis and projections related to business and research trends.
- Develop and monitor departmental, discretionary, and sponsored budgets.
- Analyze business activity costs and recommend budget adjustments and cost improvements.
- Manage grant and contract closeouts, funding transfers, and summary documentation.
- Ensure appropriate funding levels and adherence to revenue and expenditure guidelines.
- Prepare financial planning and cost analysis reports.
- Meet with faculty to review and ensure compliance with institutional and agency regulations.
- Perform comprehensive financial analysis to enhance departmental effectiveness and compliance.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Hospital Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (required) OR equivalent relevant experience (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of progressive related experience (required) OR experience in finance, accounting, business, grants management, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience with departmental budget and personnel communication.
- Aptitude for quantitative analysis.
- Proficiency in standard business software.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to develop effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This job is Hybrid Remote.
Pay Range: Salary $60,000.00 to $75,000.00
