Sparks Group has partnered with an established financial services organization to find a Vice President of Technology Risk & Controls. As the VP of Technology Risk & Controls, you will lead the assessment and enhancement of risk management and controls. Responsibilities include overseeing RCSA processes, supporting audits and examinations, identifying and implementing control improvements, and collaborating with business units to strengthen their risk management posture. Responsibilities:- Guide Technology teams on all aspects of risk management and compliance.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of comprehensive IT Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs).
- Interact with internal audit, regulators, and other key stakeholders to communicate IT control effectiveness.
- Implement and maintain a robust control framework across all IT functions.
- Partner with 2nd and 1st line of defense to ensure thorough risk assessment and mitigation.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or an information technology-related field
- 10+ years’ experience in operations or technology in a banking or other highly regulated industry
- Experience managing risk in an information technology setting
- Experience in analyzing or managing technical processes such as network, server or mainframe systems administration
- Demonstrated leadership in IT role with significant risk management responsibility

This job is Hybrid Remote.
Pay Range: Salary $175,000.00 to $200,000.00
