Payroll Manager

Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group has partnered with an environmentally focused nonprofit to find a Payroll Manager.  As the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for all payroll administration and compliance support.  The ideal candidate will have 5 years of payroll management experience and experience in ADP.  If you are looking for the next step in your career, apply now!


Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, coordinate, and submit payroll bi-monthly as well as make any necessary adjustments and corrections after it’s been processed.
  • Verify and make updates when employee information is added, changed or updated
  • Create various payroll and related reports

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • 5 years progressive payroll experience
  • Associate degree in accounting
  • Experience in Payroll software ADP, Word, and Excel
  • Detailed knowledge of federal and state payroll taxes, unemployment regulations, taxable benefits, and garnishment reporting.
