Regional Sales Manager

Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a well known reseller of audio, video, and data recording for public safety organizations and commercial contact centers that is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for a direct hire opportunity. The ideal candidate must live in Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Ohio, Maryland, Virginia, or West Virginia. Previous sales experience in the public safety sector is a must. Responsibilities:

• Drive sales growth and exceed targets through effective sales team leadership
• Develop and execute a strategic customer acquisition plan to expand our reach and solidify brand presence.
• Lead the recruitment, goal setting, coaching, and performance evaluation of sales representatives.
• Forge and cultivate long-term customer partnerships by understanding their needs and collaborating effectively.
• Provide insightful reports and forecasts on sales, revenue, expenses, and market trends to management.
• Stay ahead of the curve by identifying anticipating market shifts, and keeping abreast of competitor developments and new product launches.

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• Must live in one of the required states listed above
• Must have experience in the public safety sector
• Possess a BS/MS in Business Administration or a relevant field
• Consistently exceed sales targets through prior experience as a sales manager
• Demonstrate strong communication, presentation, and influence skills to engage effectively at all organizational levels
• Proven ability to drive sales from planning to successful closing
• Excel at mentoring, coaching, and people management
